Can a person be bitten in an air conditioned room?

YES

Mosquitoes do not like cold. A difference of 5 or 6° between the outside temperature and an air conditioned room acts as a climatic barrier. The temperature difference repels mosquitoes.

Air conditioning is an obstacle that reduces mosquitoes' activity, but it does not prevent them from biting.
